We will provide a what to wear guide and some wardrobe + adornments to share. Of course we encourage you to bring your own items or even some to share. Upon registration, we will invite you to bring a couple of small items from around your house to use.

The Illuminated Retreat will be limited to 30 participants. An incredible team of guest teachers and supporters will provide personal attention and one-on-one support as needed. Upon registration, each participant will be invited to join a private Facebook community + whats app group to share info and foster connections among the group.

This retreat requires an adventurous spirit, a flexible attitude, and an open mind. Although all beautiful and stylish, some of the accommodation options are more of a “camping” style. Attending retreats away from home is always an adventure and accepting that from the beginning will set the stage for more easeful navigating. That said, this land is our home, and we are here to make the journey as easeful and as comfortable for you as possible. 

Accessibility: We will be walking and hiking on uneven ground for a number of our outings, so please take that into consideration when booking.

I understand the struggle of self-acceptance; as a person who has body +gender dysmorphia and experienced mental illness, I know how difficult it is to relax and express yourself fully and be SEEN. Integrating nature-based somatic practices, meditation, and rituals will bring clarity, insight, and energy to your system. Illuminated experience becomes the path to your transformation. As a Trauma Informed Somatic + Temple Body Facilitator I’m here to support you on your journey and document the process to provide you with powerful reminders that you can use to tap into your divine power in the future.

You'll enjoy access to our inviting communal spaces. Relax and unwind in our expansive Lodge, complete with grills, fire pits, a communal kitchen, and bathrooms. Take in the stunning views from our River Deck, overlooking the majestic Molalla River. And don't miss out on our newest addition, the Cedar Bath House, featuring a 12-person sauna, eight-foot cedar hot tub, massage tables, changing room, tea area, and outdoor shower.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to cancel your spot in the retreat, we are happy to offer a refund (minus a $150 cancellation fee) if we are able to fill your spot.

If we are not able to fill your spot, we are happy to offer you credit for a future retreat based on the timeline below:

If you cancel your retreat more than two months prior to your scheduled retreat, 100% of your retreat fee, minus a $100 rebooking fee, can be applied as a credit towards a future retreat, which must be used within two years. (You will be the first to know about new retreats as they are announced).

If you cancel your retreat within two months of your scheduled retreat, 75% percent of your retreat fee can be applied as a credit towards a future retreat, which must be used within two years. You will forfeit 25% of the price you paid for the retreat.

If you cancel your retreat within one month of your scheduled retreat, 50% percent of your retreat fee can be applied as a credit towards a future retreat, which must be used within two years. You will forfeit 50% of the price you paid for the retreat.

If you cancel your retreat within two weeks of your scheduled retreat, you will forfeit your entire retreat payment.

We are also happy to transfer your spot to someone else who is able to take your place in the scheduled retreat with no transfer fee regardless of when you cancel. In this case, you will need to find the new participant yourself and receive reimbursement directly from them.

In case of a natural disaster, Covid-related closures or surges, or any other unforeseen reasons to cancel the retreat, we reserve the right to make any changes necessary to the retreat. In this case, will offer you a full refund and/or the option to book another retreat. However, we will not be responsible for any changes made to your airfare. For your peace of mind, we recommend purchasing “cancel for any reason” trip insurance in case cancellations or changes arise.

Cabins & Bell Tents

Nestled in nature, these structures are entirely of the forest. From felling of the trees, milling into lumber, joining beams and columns to rafters and roof, finish carpentry and the warmth of the hearth, these shelters are all hand-made with close listening to the needs of nature, and your nature. The Communal Lodge is mainly constructed from Douglas Fir that reached upwards of 275 feet and five feet in diameter not a stones through from where the structure stands now. The Cedar for the hot tub and sauna structure came from two trees along the creek that serves as the cold plunge option to the sweltering sauna space at the confluence of the creek and the river. The Ceramic Art Studio features burnt doug fir wood siding as it camoflauges into a pristine curve of the creek. The Sleeper Cabins were all built by hand on-site, down small trails that lead to the most pristine privacy possible. This is your natural architecture for your renewed equilibrium.

Bell Tents Each Bell Tent is situated in its own quaint camping spot with cedar chip paths. The Bell Tents measure fourteen feet in diameter and have ample headspace as well as lanterns to light up the space in the evenings. There is a queen beds with a foam top, comfortable bamboo pillows, high thread count cotton sheets, rugs, bedside tables and battery candles. All campsites are serviced by the Communal Lodge with kitchen, grilling area, indoor & outdoor dining areas, showers & bathrooms, living room, musical instruments (piano, organ, guitar, drums & more). Access is open twenty four hours as well as access to the Cedar Bath House with twelve person sauna and eight foot cedar hot tub with two massage tables, tea & water station, changing room, and outdoor shower with cold water plunge clawfoot tub. Alpaca Bedding Each Bell Tent features quintessential pacific northwest designed bedding from Los Andes which works directly with indigenous peoples of Ecuador to hand make each design.

A SWEET RETREAT by BRANDY FOR RIPARIDE The drive in took us down idyllic country roads lined with family-owned ranches and acres of farmland. Eventually, it transitioned into a dense forest on either side of a turquoise river. Situated along Trout Creek and Mollala River, S'Mores Tiny Home is an open-concept design and features a rope net connecting two loft spaces, making it the perfect place to hang out with friends and family. It's also part of the Trout Creek Wilderness Lodge, which is spread out across 250 acres of lush forest, rivers and streams, and even a few waterfalls! This handcrafted cabin has two beds in the loft accessible by either ladder or stairs; each with its own skylight, ideal for stargazing before you drift off to sleep. Several other windows provide near 360-degree views of lush, moss-covered trees, and open to provide a perfect breeze on a hot summer day. Outside, facing the river, you have a deck along with a grill, bench, and handcrafted foot stool to kick back and unwind. You also have your own fire pit and chairs, but being only steps away from a bathhouse – equipped with a wood-barrel hot tub, clawfoot plunge tub and sauna – you don't have to go very far to take advantage of some of the many other amenities. Try starting your day with yoga on the river deck, or for more of a jolt, try cliff-jumping approximately 20 feet into the crystal-clear Molalla River below. You can connect with other guests in the beautiful communal lodge, magnificently crafted from a single tree, or enjoy a leisure float session on one of the kayaks, floaties or canoe that are available to guests. Cabin Four - Queen Bed — Desk — Front Porch - Newly Renovated! Cabin Four is directly on the creek, next to a bend with a rock perfect for sitting in meditation mid-stream. A bit further from the first two cabins from the communal lodge this cabin is not connected to power but has built in electrical, lighting, charging stations and is battery bank powered. For heat you have a custom built wood stove with supplied firewood. There’s also a fire-pit just outside the door for grilling, roasting marshmallows and staying warm. The cabin is still only about three hundred feet from the lodge and its facilities (bathrooms, showers, kitchen, dining, living rooms). A large patio with a log bench frame the cabin, inside is the queen size bed, wood stove, USB charging outlets, chairs, and more!   • We highly recommend trip insurance. Our retreats are non refundable after a certain point, so please protect yourself. Once booked, we will be happy to refer you to our preferred travel agency for help securing insurance. Or you can book directly through TravelGuard, or WorldNomads - both reputable companies.

Do you offer payment plans?

YES! We offer payment plans! Payment plans for up to 6 months if you start before the end of 2024.

Where is the retreat? How do I get there?

The Retreat is in Mollala, Oregon 1 hour from Portland, Oregon.

You fly into PDX, Portland International Airport.

Shuttle or ride share will be available from PDX Airport to the Retreat & back.

Whats the weather like in June in Oregon?

June is one of my favorite months in Oregon! Bright, sunny skies and average temperatures ranging from the mid-50s to the low 80s mean that gardens are in full bloom!

How much physical activity is involved?

This retreat is quite physically active. Between daily movement sessions, moving around the twenty-acred retreat center, and optional hikes, we will be on the move. That said, we will do whatever we can to accommodate your physical needs.

What are the COVID protocols?

The following guidelines are in place to keep our group healthy and our communication clear before, during, and after our time together.

* Refrain from large group gatherings one week prior to our retreat.
* Wear a mask on the airplane if you are traveling from afar.
* Use hand sanitizer and wash hands frequently throughout the retreat.
* Wear a mask if you desire at any time.
* Do not come to the retreat if you are experiencing a fever, sore throat, lasting headache, cough, loss of taste or smell, body aches, or any other Covid symptoms.
* Let us know right away if you start to experience any symptoms while you’re at the retreat.
* Let us know if you experience any symptoms after returning home from the retreat.

Air filters will be running in the retreat house and in the workshop space and hand sanitizers and masks will be available.

What happens if I get sick during the retreat?

In the unfortunate event that you start to feel sick in any way during the retreat, we will support you in finding a suitable place to quarantine away from our community spaces. Any expenses accrued as a result of leaving the retreat will be your responsibilities and no refunds will be given for the retreat. Of course, we hope this doesn’t happen!

Is this retreat LGBQT+ Friendly?

YES! I identify as a non-binary, queer humans ALL expressions of gender are welcome and celebrated!!! 

Can I sign up with a friend?

Yes. You will both need to register and pay separately for the retreat. If you would like to be in the same room, please be sure to purchase the same kind of accommodation.

Due to the high demand of interest in the retreat, we are unable to “save spots” for friends.

How many participants will there be?

We are capping it at 30 participants + the facilitators. Perfect intimate number :)

What is the food going to be?

During the retreat, we’ll provide three vegetarian delicious, nutritious, and organic (when possible) meals each day, plus a welcome dinner and closing brunch. We will also provide some nutritious snack platters, organic/fairtrade coffee, tea, and spring water from the land. I am a foodie at heart and love to eat! We want you to feel nourished and cared for.All meals and snacks are gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly. Upon registration, you will receive a form to let us know about any food restrictions.

What do I need to bring?

Any adornments or props you want to be photographed with. We will provide art materials, yoga mats, comfortable bedding, towels, all meals, snacks, coffee, tea, and land local spring water. Upon registration, we will send a suggested packing list to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

What if I am super camera shy?

Don’t worry! I have been helping people feel comfortable on camera for over 15 years. While confident behind the camera, I used to be extremely shy when I was in front of it. After learning how to tap into my authentic self through embodiment practices and interacting with the elements, I feel super comfortable and I want to help you feel that way too! My photography captures your unique presence while making you feel empowered to take on the world. I will walk you through a guided meditation to ground down and connect with the space, and then throughout I have tons of tips & tricks so your natural radiance shows on camera! No awkward posing. ;)

Goddess Illuminated Retreat is a week long version of my signature Goddess Session. We will provide some Goddess wardrobe and some adornments. Of course we encourage you to bring your own items. Upon registration, we will invite you to bring a couple of small items from around your house to use.

The Goddess Illuminated Retreat will be limited to 22 participants. An incredible team of guest teachers, supporters, and a somatic therapist will provide plenty of personal attention and one-on-one support as needed. Upon registration, each participant will be invited to join a private Facebook community + whats app group to share info and connect with the group.

No photo session, art, meditation or movement experience is required to attend this retreat. Come as you are. You WILL NEED a valid passport that doesn't expire within 6 months.

This retreat requires an adventurous spirit, go with the flow attitude, and an open mind. Although all beautiful and luxurious, some of the accommodation options are more of a “camping” style. Attending retreats away from home is always an adventure and getting comfortable with that from the beginning will create a more pleasant experience. That said, we are here to make the journey as comfortable for you as possible.

  • We highly recommend trip insurance. Our retreats are non refundable after a certain point, so please protect yourself. Once booked, we will be happy to refer you to our preferred travel agency for help securing insurance. Or you can book directly through TravelGuard, or WorldNomads - both reputable companies.

COVID-19 Disclaimer: Due to Goddess Illuminated's stand on sovereignty and our sisters' divine right to choose what is best for their bodies and possible travel restrictions that could possibly limit our sisters' choices, destination and dates are subject to change based on COVID-19 Travel Restrictions. Do you offer payment plans?

YES! We offer payment plans! Payment plans for up to 6 months if you start before the end of 2024.

You can pay your automated payment plan via bank transfer or credit card with a 3% processing fee.

Where is the retreat? How do I get there?

The Retreat is in Mollala, Oregon 1 hour from Portland, Oregon.

You fly into PDX, Portland International Airport.

Shuttle or ride share will be available from PDX Airport to the Retreat & back.

Whats the weather like in June in Oregon?

June is one of my favorite months in Oregon! Bright, sunny skies and average temperatures ranging from the mid-50s to the low 80s mean that gardens are in full bloom!

How much physical activity is involved?

This retreat is quite physically active. Between daily movement sessions, moving around the twenty-acred retreat center, and optional hikes, we will be on the move. That said, we will do whatever we can to accommodate your physical needs.

What are the COVID protocols?

The following guidelines are in place to keep our group healthy and our communication clear before, during, and after our time together.

* Refrain from large group gatherings one week prior to our retreat.
* Wear a mask on the airplane if you are traveling from afar.
* Use hand sanitizer and wash hands frequently throughout the retreat.
* Wear a mask if you desire at any time.
* Do not come to the retreat if you are experiencing a fever, sore throat, lasting headache, cough, loss of taste or smell, body aches, or any other Covid symptoms.
* Let us know right away if you start to experience any symptoms while you’re at the retreat.
* Let us know if you experience any symptoms after returning home from the retreat.

Air filters will be running in the retreat house and in the workshop space and hand sanitizers and masks will be available.

What happens if I get sick during the retreat?

In the unfortunate event that you start to feel sick in any way during the retreat, we will support you in finding a suitable place to quarantine away from our community spaces. Any expenses accrued as a result of leaving the retreat will be your responsibilities and no refunds will be given for the retreat. Of course, we hope this doesn’t happen!

Is this retreat LGBQT+ Friendly?

YES! I identify as a non-binary, queer humans ALL expressions of gender are welcome and celebrated!!! 

Can I sign up with a friend?

Yes. You will both need to register and pay separately for the retreat. If you would like to be in the same room, please be sure to purchase the same kind of accommodation.

Due to the high demand of interest in the retreat, we are unable to “save spots” for friends.

How many participants will there be?

We are capping it at 30 participants + the facilitators. Perfect intimate number :)

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your spot in the retreat, we are happy to offer a refund (minus a $150 cancellation fee) if we are able to fill your spot.

If we are not able to fill your spot, we are happy to offer you credit for a future retreat or photo session based on the timeline below:

If you cancel your retreat more than three months prior to your scheduled retreat, 100% of your retreat fee, minus a $100 rebooking fee, can be applied as a credit towards a future retreat or photo session, which must be used within two years. (You will be the first to know about new retreats as they are announced).

If you cancel your retreat within three months of your scheduled retreat, 75% percent of your retreat fee can be applied as a credit towards a future retreat, which must be used within two years. You will forfeit 25% of the price you paid for the retreat.

If you cancel your retreat within two month of your scheduled retreat, 50% percent of your retreat fee can be applied as a credit towards a future retreat, which must be used within two years. You will forfeit 50% of the price you paid for the retreat.

If you cancel your retreat within one month of your scheduled retreat, you will forfeit your entire retreat payment.

We are also happy to transfer your spot to someone else who is able to take your place in the scheduled retreat with no transfer fee regardless of when you cancel. In this case, you will need to find the new participant yourself and receive reimbursement directly from them.

In case of a natural disaster, Covid-related closures or surges, or any other unforeseen reasons to cancel the retreat, we reserve the right to make any changes necessary to the retreat. In this case, will offer you a full refund and/or the option to book another retreat. However, we will not be responsible for any changes made to your airfare. For your peace of mind, we recommend purchasing “cancel for any reason” trip insurance in case cancellations or changes arise.

What is the food going to be?

During the retreat, we’ll provide three vegetarian delicious, nutritious, and organic (when possible) meals each day, plus a welcome dinner and closing brunch. We will also provide some nutritious snack platters, organic/fairtrade coffee, tea, and spring water from the land. I am a foodie at heart and love to eat! We want you to feel nourished and cared for.All meals and snacks are gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly. Upon registration, you will receive a form to let us know about any food restrictions.

What do I need to bring?

Any adornments or props you want to be photographed with. We will provide art materials, yoga mats, comfortable bedding, towels, all meals, snacks, coffee, tea, and land local spring water. Upon registration, we will send a suggested packing list to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Don’t worry! I have been helping people feel comfortable on camera for over 15 years. While confident behind the camera, I used to be extremely shy when I was in front of it. After learning how to tap into my authentic self through embodiment practices and interacting with the elements, I feel super comfortable and I want to help you feel that way too! My photography captures your unique presence while making you feel empowered to take on the world. I will walk you through a guided meditation to ground down and connect with the space, and then throughout I have tons of tips & tricks so your natural radiance shows on camera! No awkward posing. ;)

The retreat center is a peaceful twenty-acre oasis nestled in the lush watershed of the Columbia River basin, an hour outside of Portland, OR. Home to old-growth cedar groves, majestic blue herons, wide-open meadows, and a bubbling creek, this sacred land nourishes the body, mind, and soul in every way.

Our 2400 square-foot event barn offers a spacious place to gather, move, and create, and our retreat house, cabins, and glamping tents provide a unique array of comfortable accommodations. RETREAT HOUSE - ALMOST SOLD OUT!

There are four beautiful bedrooms with a total of ten queen or full-sized beds throughout the retreat house – Forest (double), Moon (double), Sky (triple), and Orchard (triple). To read about each room, click on the products below.

Each room is comfortably appointed with high-quality cotton bedding, duvets, bedside tables, closet space, pleasant lighting, ample windows, natural views, and colorful original artwork. Most rooms have places to sit and read and two rooms have balconies. There is heat and air conditioning throughout the house.

There are two full bathrooms in the retreat house on the first floor. The Forest, Orchard, and Moon rooms are all on the first floor near the bathrooms, and the Sky room is upstairs.

There is a spacious kitchen, large refrigerator, coffee and tea station, and a kitchen table for eight. All group meals for the retreat will be served outside around large round tables.

If you prefer more privacy away from the group and don’t mind a more rustic experience, I recommend booking a cabin or a glamping tent.

There are three small but cozy cabins at The Nest – two singles, Heron and Hummingbird, and one double, The Perch. To read about each cabin, click on the products below.

Each cabin has comfortable queen-sized beds, high-quality cotton bedding, duvets, bedside tables, hooks, a luggage rack, a reading chair, windows, and colorful original artwork.

The cabins do not have electricity, heat, or air conditioning, so they offer more of a camping experience. You will find solar and battery-powered lights in each cabin, making them very quaint and romantic! 🙂 We recommend bringing a headlamp for extra light, and an external charger for your phone. (You can also charge devices in the nearby event barn).

Fresh local spring water for drinking will be provided in each cabin. A private, two-stall outdoor shower and portable toilets will be a short walk away from the cabins.

If you need a bathroom nearby and/or don’t enjoy camping, I recommend booking a room in the retreat house.

GLAMPING TENTS - ALMOST SOLD OUT!

Each of our four 300-square-foot tents has two comfortable extra-large single beds, high-quality cotton bedding, duvets, bedside tables, hooks, luggage racks, a reading chair, and windows with screens at the top and along the base for beautiful views of nature. The glamping tents do not have electricity, heat, or air conditioning, so they offer more of a camping, close-to-nature experience. How much physical activity is involved?

This retreat is quite physically active. Between daily movement sessions, moving around the twenty-acred retreat center, and optional hikes, we will be on the move. That said, we will do whatever we can to accommodate your physical needs.

What are the COVID protocols?

The following guidelines are in place to keep our group healthy and our communication clear before, during, and after our time together.

* Refrain from large group gatherings one week prior to our retreat.
* Wear a mask on the airplane if you are traveling from afar.
* Use hand sanitizer and wash hands frequently throughout the retreat.
* Wear a mask if you desire at any time.
* Do not come to the retreat if you are experiencing a fever, sore throat, lasting headache, cough, loss of taste or smell, body aches, or any other Covid symptoms.
* Let us know right away if you start to experience any symptoms while you’re at the retreat.
* Let us know if you experience any symptoms after returning home from the retreat.

Air filters will be running in the retreat house and in the workshop space and hand sanitizers and masks will be available.

What happens if I get sick during the retreat?

In the unfortunate event that you start to feel sick in any way during the retreat, we will support you in finding a suitable place to quarantine away from our community spaces. Any expenses accrued as a result of leaving the retreat will be your responsibilities and no refunds will be given for the retreat. Of course, we hope this doesn’t happen!

Do I need to be present for the whole retreat?

Yes. It’s important that everyone is present for the entire retreat to create a safe and inclusive container. Each day of the retreat will build upon the next in a cumulative fashion.

Please plan to arrive at the Nest between 1 pm – 5 pm on the first day of the retreat and plan to depart no earlier than noon on the final day.

Can I sign up with a friend?

Yes. You will both need to register and pay separately for the retreat. If you would like to be in the same room, please be sure to purchase the same kind of accommodation.

Due to the high demand of interest in the retreat, we are unable to “save spots” for friends.

How many participants will there be?

We are capping it at 30 participants + the facilitators. Perfect intimate number :)

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your spot in the retreat, we are happy to offer a refund (minus a $150 cancellation fee) if we are able to fill your spot.

If we are not able to fill your spot, we are happy to offer you credit for a future retreat or photo session based on the timeline below:

If you cancel your retreat more than three months prior to your scheduled retreat, 100% of your retreat fee, minus a $100 rebooking fee, can be applied as a credit towards a future retreat or photo session, which must be used within two years. (You will be the first to know about new retreats as they are announced).

If you cancel your retreat within three months of your scheduled retreat, 75% percent of your retreat fee can be applied as a credit towards a future retreat, which must be used within two years. You will forfeit 25% of the price you paid for the retreat.

If you cancel your retreat within two month of your scheduled retreat, 50% percent of your retreat fee can be applied as a credit towards a future retreat, which must be used within two years. You will forfeit 50% of the price you paid for the retreat.

If you cancel your retreat within one month of your scheduled retreat, you will forfeit your entire retreat payment.

We are also happy to transfer your spot to someone else who is able to take your place in the scheduled retreat with no transfer fee regardless of when you cancel. In this case, you will need to find the new participant yourself and receive reimbursement directly from them.

In case of a natural disaster, Covid-related closures or surges, or any other unforeseen reasons to cancel the retreat, we reserve the right to make any changes necessary to the retreat. In this case, will offer you a full refund and/or the option to book another retreat. However, we will not be responsible for any changes made to your airfare. For your peace of mind, we recommend purchasing “cancel for any reason” trip insurance in case cancellations or changes arise.

What is the food going to be?

During the retreat, we’ll provide three vegetarian delicious, nutritious, and organic (when possible) meals each day, plus a welcome dinner and closing brunch. We will also provide some nutritious snack platters, organic/fairtrade coffee, tea, and spring water from the land. I am a foodie at heart and love to eat! We want you to feel nourished and cared for.All meals and snacks are gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly. Upon registration, you will receive a form to let us know about any food restrictions.

Whats the weather like in June?

June is one of my favorite months in Oregon! The forest is so lush and flowers are beautiful from the rainy winter and spring. Daily high temperatures from 71°F to 78°F Daily low temperatures increase from 51°F to 55°F. Oregon is known for rain so we may get a little sprinkle.

What do I need to bring?

Any adornments or props you want to be photographed with. We will provide art materials, yoga mats, comfortable bedding, towels, all meals, snacks, coffee, tea, and land local spring water. Upon registration, we will send a suggested packing list to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Where is the retreat? How do I get there?

The retreat will be held at Flora Bowley's new property The Nest in St. Helen’s, Oregon, an hour northwest of Portland. You are welcome to drive directly to the property or there will be carpool options from PDX airport. Address and directions provided upon registration. Carpools encouraged!

Do you offer payment plans?

YES! We offer payment plans! Payment plans for up to 3 months if you pay your deposit by March 15.

You can pay your automated payment plan via bank transfer or credit card with a 3% processing fee.
